Trading Update from Cowal Building and Plumbing Supplies & Reddance

To all our valued customers,

Can we again this week please say that we hope this letter finds you and all your families well.

Please can I start by saying a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who has helped us again by making a payment over the past week, via Bank Transfer, Credit and Debit Card. It’s hugely appreciated by us, as this allows us to continue to meet our weekly obligations to both our staff and our suppliers.

Following instruction from both Scottish and UK Govt on March 23rd Cowal Building and Plumbing Supplies and Reddance temporarily shut down our entire operation.

Since then we have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and are now preparing for a safe partial reopening of the business from MONDAY 4TH MAY.

The depots remain closed to visitors at this time & therefore all enquiries & orders are on a PRE-ORDER basis only.

Our sales staff will return to work in all Depots ready to process your email and telephone orders for Deliveries and ‘Call & Collect’ (with a future date and time-slot provided by us.)

Strict social distancing measures are in place for the safety of all our staff and customers; which remains our top priority; and all transactions must be CONTACT-FREE. Please note this means we will not be providing a ‘COD’ service at this time and therefore all non-credit-account business will require payment at the time of order.

Please note that we have placed all customer accounts with outstanding balances dated February 2020 and prior on stop and these accounts can be used on a cash basis only. Payment of the full balance will restore full credit facilities. Payment of part will restore a limited credit facility, subject to agreement. We trust that our customers will understand this temporary revised trading policy.
