We’re looking for an experienced and driven Depot Manager to lead our East Kilbride depot (9 Law Place, Glasgow G74 4QL), one of Scotland’s premier lintel and building materials supply centres. This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a key leadership role as Cowal Building continues to grow our business.

As Scotland’s largest supplier of steel lintels, our East Kilbride depot serves many of the UK’s national house builders alongside local contractors, developers and trade customers. Specialising in steel and concrete lintels, insulation products and vapour barriers, this depot plays a critical role in our wider operations.

The Role: Depot Manager East Kilbride

As Depot Manager, you’ll have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring excellence across customer service, sales performance, stock control, health and safety, transport logistics and team leadership. You’ll maintain and grow relationships with national house builders and trade customers while ensuring smooth, profitable operations.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone with previous management experience in a builders’ merchant, construction supply or related industry who can lead and develop a team effectively.

Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with solid understanding of stock management and operational processes.

Commercial awareness, customer focus and the ability to build strong relationships are crucial.

Experience working with national house builders or construction products would be highly advantageous.
